This past Sunday, at our church, I sang this song in a group. I really love the message of truth that it shares. I hope you'll take the time to read it & take it to heart.
The Babe in the Manger Do you worship the Babe in the manger, But reject the Christ of the Cross? Your redemption comes not by the manger, But the death of Christ on the Cross. If you worship the Babe in the manger, But ignore the blood of God’s Son, To you Christ is only a stranger, Til you trust the work He has done. The Babe in the manger was God’s only Son, Who came to the world to die. The Babe in the manger could never have done The work of His God on high. The Babe left the manger and went to the Cross To pay the wages of sin. Your way of forgiveness is not by the Babe, But the Christ who died for your sin.– W. S. and Mildred Dillon Merry Christmas!
After our recent move, I decided to create my own moving announcement. Considering the fact that it would have cost me well over $50 to order the same number of predesigned cards, I felt the time and effort was well worth it! It cost me less than $15.00
You can do it too!
I chose to go with a more simplistic style. By using digital cardboard for my background and a stacked photo frame, I was able to keep it simple, but still add dimension and texture. I also made sure to add a slight shadow to some of my elements to give the design some depth. I also went with more basic fonts to compliment the simple design. When you design a postcard, be aware of the requirements of the site where you decide to have them printed. Most sites will accept .jpg files that are 300 dpi or greater. However, some sites do require your image to be converted to CMYK. I like to use this simple site to convert from RGB to CMYK.
