Fun Free Valentine Fonts



I absolutely LOVE fonts!! Especially when they're free! You can do more with a font than just write something; some fonts have not actual lettering, but are completely what I like to call "picture fonts". All these fonts have are images or doodles. Several of the fonts I'm sharing with you today are like that. I love to take these fonts, print them off in a large size and use them as a digital stamp for a card or project.

Too often I fall into the rut of trying to be "Super Woman". I become intimidated by other women I see who seem to have it together. You've seen them, they exercise daily and look stunning, they religiously feed their family 5 fruits and veggies every single day, their life is so routine that even the dog knows the schedule, their laundry is folded immediately after it exists the dryer and is still hot when put away in it's organized chest of drawers, dust never collects on their furniture, crumbs literally float to the garbage can because they would not dare fall on the perfectly clean floor... ok, so maybe that's a little exaggerated, but you get the idea!

This past Sunday, at our church, I sang this song in a group. I really love the message of truth that it shares. I hope you'll take the time to read it & take it to heart.

Card: Country Snowman Digital Stamp

I wish I could say that this card was my original idea, but it wasn't.... I got the inspiration from Pinterest. I did make some changes to it, however. The snowman was so adorable, I had to purchase the digital stamp for it! It took me a while, but I finally found the Country Snowman digital stamp at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.


To make this card...

I used my Silhouette to cut out the frame, used "print & cut" for the sentiment and snow banks, and cut out the snowflakes using the lpsnowflake font. I attempted to use the "print & cut" feature on my Silhouette software for the snowman .jpg image, but it would not cut it correctly... Can some one tell me why?! Is it some trick to make me buy the full version of the software?? I ended up just printing it and then cutting it out by hand.

For the rest of the card, I embossed both the frame and the card, colored the snowman with colored pencils, and added diamond stickles to the embossed white dots and the edge…
