This past Sunday, at our church, I sang this song in a group. I really love the message of truth that it shares. I hope you'll take the time to read it & take it to heart.
The Babe in the Manger Do you worship the Babe in the manger, But reject the Christ of the Cross? Your redemption comes not by the manger, But the death of Christ on the Cross. If you worship the Babe in the manger, But ignore the blood of God’s Son, To you Christ is only a stranger, Til you trust the work He has done. The Babe in the manger was God’s only Son, Who came to the world to die. The Babe in the manger could never have done The work of His God on high. The Babe left the manger and went to the Cross To pay the wages of sin. Your way of forgiveness is not by the Babe, But the Christ who died for your sin.– W. S. and Mildred Dillon Merry Christmas!
I wish I could say that this card was my original idea, but it wasn't.... I got the inspiration from Pinterest. I did make some changes to it, however. The snowman was so adorable, I had to purchase the digital stamp for it! It took me a while, but I finally found the Country Snowman digital stamp at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Is it some trick to make me buy the full version of the software?? I ended up just printing it and then cutting it out by hand.
For the rest of the card, I embossed both the frame and the card, colored the snowman with colored pencils, and added diamond stickles to the embossed white dots and the edge…
Too often I fall into the rut of trying to be "Super Woman". I become intimidated by other women I see who seem to have it together. You've seen them, they exercise daily and look stunning, they religiously feed their family 5 fruits and veggies every single day, their life is so routine that even the dog knows the schedule, their laundry is folded immediately after it exists the dryer and is still hot when put away in it's organized chest of drawers, dust never collects on their furniture, crumbs literally float to the garbage can because they would not dare fall on the perfectly clean floor... ok, so maybe that's a little exaggerated, but you get the idea!
I confess, I'm not Super Woman... I've given my kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches served on a napkin for lunch more times than I care to count.
It's one of their favorites. PBJs aren't all that bad.
I confess, I'm not Super Woman... I have more than a week's worth o…
