I ♥ Finger Painting

This week on "I ♥ Faces", the theme is "anything but a face"! The first photo that came to my mind was this photo I took of my 5 yr. old playing with his finger paints.

Have a wonderful Monday and remember to Capture the Little Things in your life today!

Quick Card, revisited

Here's another take on the card I posted a couple days ago. There are so many varieties you could choose when altering a black and white pattern!

Quick Card

Just a quick card to share. This one was very quick and simple... both printed papers were originally black and white, so I colored in sections to add some color. Then, I stamped my sentiment onto little strip.

Valentine Card

With Valentine's Day just a couple days away, I wanted to quickly share this card I made. I used masking and resist techniques which I will try to share later.

Have a blessed weekend!

Through a Child's Lens: 2

It's time for Through a Child's Lens again. If you missed my first post about TCL, you can read it here.

As I was browsing through my 5-yr. old's camera, I was impressed by more than one creative shot. This one in particular caught my attention.

It looks like a silhouette of a man...

But if you see the same man from a different angle, you'll see it's a toy...

Of course, it isn't just any old toy; this is my son's favorite, the "little red man".
