We enjoyed feeding and petting this wallaby at the Creation Museum last fall. It loved to be petted! If you've never been to the Creation Museum, you really should go! Our family enjoyed it so much!!
This week on "I ♥ Faces", the theme is "anything but a face"! The first photo that came to my mind was this photo I took of my 5 yr. old playing with his finger paints. Have a wonderful Monday and remember to Capture the Little Things in your life today! Linking to:
Too often I fall into the rut of trying to be "Super Woman". I become intimidated by other women I see who seem to have it together. You've seen them, they exercise daily and look stunning, they religiously feed their family 5 fruits and veggies every single day, their life is so routine that even the dog knows the schedule, their laundry is folded immediately after it exists the dryer and is still hot when put away in it's organized chest of drawers, dust never collects on their furniture, crumbs literally float to the garbage can because they would not dare fall on the perfectly clean floor... ok, so maybe that's a little exaggerated, but you get the idea! I confess, I'm not Super Woman... I've given my kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches served on a napkin for lunch more times than I care to count. That's ok. It's one of their favorites. PBJs aren't all that bad. I confess, I'm not Super Woman... I have more than...
The oldest of my little nephews had his 4th birthday recently, so I decided to make a little interactive card for him. In between the normal daily routine, it took me several days to make this. When I decided what I wanted to do, I think that all the cutting, resizing and re-cutting, choosing colors, and just putting it all together would take so long! Most of the elements were from both Paper Dolls Cricut cartridges. The tent was from the svg file I found here ; I used SCAL to cut it out. Card Inside Inside, I placed a little "paper doll" camper roasting marshmallows outside his tent. The little man is laminated and removable, so he can be played with later. I had a lot of fun with all the little details of this card! I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it! Linking To...
