Teen Boy Card

Image
Masculine cards are a challenge for almost all cardmakers. I've been trying to collect different ideas and designs to keep in my "database" of masculine card ideas. I had fun designing this card for my brother's 13th birthday. Materials: corrugated cardboard, packing paper (brown background), green cardstock, DCWV (printed paper), Thickers, Michael Strong Texturizing stamp , Heidi Grace stamp (sentiment) It's actually quite a simple design. The hardest part was tearing apart the corrugated cardboard! :) Have a happy, creative day! Linking to...

I ♥ Finger Painting

Image
This week on "I ♥ Faces", the theme is "anything but a face"! The first photo that came to my mind was this photo I took of my 5 yr. old playing with his finger paints. Have a wonderful Monday and remember to Capture the Little Things in your life today! Linking to:

Tiny Miracle

It's been a while since I have shared some of my creative works with you. Here is a card that I made a few months ago when my little (and only) niece was born. It was the first time that I used a border punch on the edge of the card like this and I must admit, it was a little tricky to get the back and front lined up just right. Papers: DCWV; Butterfly: cut out of Pressed Petals paper   Thanks for stopping by!  Have a terrific Tuesday!!

WCMD: Blue & Green Window Card

Image
Here's the second of the two cards I made for WCMD. The concept of design is the same as my other card , with the addition of adding a ribbon. I'm really loving the green/blue combo right now - it's so refreshing! Thanks for stopping by!

"Hello" Card

Image
During the month of March, I was able to work on a few things scrappy related. However, I neglected to post them to my blog! So, I'm playing a little catch up here... ;) This is a card I made for a challenge/contest on the scrapbooking message board I frequent. I received 2nd place for it! The frame, which I cut out using SCAL, is popped up with adhesive foam squares, as well as the butterflies. I also added some diamond stickles to the butterflies to give them a little something extra. The floral design in the center of the circle was stamped & then clear heat embossed. I hand-cut the little "hello" tag and then sanded the edges before stamping it. Cardstock: DCWV; Patterned Paper: Paper Pizzaz; Punches: Fiskars Threading Water & Martha Stewart butterfly; Bella's Baubles ; Ranger Diamond Stickles; Flowers: Unknown
