Capture the Little Things

It's been a while since I've found it necessary to make a sympathy card. I guess that's a good thing. Recently, some friends lost their father; he was over 100 yrs. old! This is the card I made for them. Masculine cards are a challenge for almost all cardmakers. I've been trying to collect different ideas and designs to keep in my "database" of masculine card ideas. I had fun designing this card for my brother's 13th birthday. Materials: corrugated cardboard, packing paper (brown background), green cardstock, DCWV (printed paper), Thickers, Michael Strong Texturizing stamp , Heidi Grace stamp (sentiment) It's actually quite a simple design. It's been a while since I have shared some of my creative works with you. Here is a card that I made a few months ago when my little (and only) niece was born. It was the first time that I used a border punch on the edge of the card like this and I must admit, it was a little tricky to get the back and front lined up just right.
